This report (national and regional stats) shows the relationship in
housing payments to income. This report indicates that in the South,
housing affordability has improved by over 24 percent in the past
year and is the most favorable in years.
This report shows home appreciation by state for 1 year, 5 years
and since 1980. Mississippi is one of only 17 states that had a
positive housing appreciation in 2008.
